art of work - goes digital

The global health crisis currently facing the business community, is creating unprecedented organisational uncertainty. In the current scenario, it is more important than ever to create adaptive capacity to ensure that organisations - big and small - can continue to operate effectively.

As a midsize international consultancy, adaptability and agility have been key for Art of Work in coping with the impact of COVID-19. Due to the nature of our work, we have been able to continue to support our clients by reshaping our products and services, in an effort to acclimatise to the ‘new normal’. Whilst navigating these uncertain times, we quickly realised that we needed to evolve our digital business strategy to ensure that we could continue to operate ‘virtually’ during the Covid-19 restrictions. From running free webinars providing COVID-19 risk management insights and practical support, through to transforming physical in-person learning workshops to dynamic, interactive events delivered on-line; we are doing a lot to ensure that the ongoing needs of our clients are catered for.

For  the Art of Work team, working remotely has been a big part of our philosophy for some time, which certainly helped to make this transition a little easier. With our widely international team, going digital has allowed us to connect and provide expert support through our online services and events, to an increasingly global audience.  We have carefully tested a range of technology platforms, tools and products to underpin the effective delivery of our consultancy services and interactive online workshops.

Is this the future for safety consulting? With the transformation of our consulting services to be able to offer clients services online as well as  in-person, additional benefits have come to light. We are seeing increased time efficiency and reduced travel time from working virtually, which results in a reduction in expenses incurred for both clients and consultants alike. The leading edge technology platforms and tools that we are working with result in more efficient turn-around times to respond to client briefs, and real-time collaboration with rich output and insights for our clients, as well as high levels of interaction and engagement for workshop participants.

Our extensive range of dynamic learning workshops and insightful consultancy services can all be delivered in this new virtual format. Unlike some providers, we think it is important to customise content for each client, and we take time to really understand a client’s business whilst being resourceful with our client’s time. With the launch of our online webinars, and interactive live learning events, participants can network with other safety professionals, gain insights from industry experts and thought leaders, all with the confidence that they will receive the usual professional help and support from the Art of Work team throughout.

Our live master classes and workshops  are designed to be interactive and highly engaging, run by industry experts and thought leaders with experience of working across a range of different fields. We limit the number of participants for each of our events, to maintain our personal approach and ensure that we can keep these dynamic learning events interactive and engaging. Stay updated on our upcoming live master class events and online webinars

Upon reflection, this pandemic crisis has helped Art of Work to reshape the way we do business - encouraging us to morph into doing business differently, exploring new ways of achieving safety differently for our clients.

Whilst we have achieved a lot already, the current business environment remains unpredictable, and we appreciate the contribution of both our team and our clients who continue to support everything we do. We continue to learn from the challenges that we face, the insights that we derive and the valuable feedback that we receive from working with our valued clients and partners. By working together, remaining agile and innovative, we are confident that despite the challenges we all face, we will continue to adapt to the new normal and emerge more innovative than ever!
